The Shop Around The Corner (2)

Today I stopped by The Shop Around The Corner to take them some new product because...
THEY SOLD MY 4 NECKLACES!
The final one sold about 3 weeks ago but I just now was able to get by the shop
and take her stock of necklaces to choose from.

These are the three necklaces that will be at The Shop Around The Corner until they are gone...hopefully at the end of Main Street festival this weekend.  :)

"Purely Eternal"

This necklace was originally listed as "Purely Asymmetrical."  (Click HERE for original post) It never really received the recognition that I was hoping to achieve when it was designed.  I preformed an overhaul.  In test wears, it received the attention that I was hoping to achieve.  Now you can check it out in person at The Shop Around The Corner

A combination of a “pure” quartz pendant surrounded by a large asymmetrical ring completed with smaller rings and pearls produces “Purely Eternal,” an elegant necklace that looks great with everything and delivers a steady stream of compliments.
  •  28” chain: 24” of delicate and feminine raw antique bronze chain.  4’ comprised of two sizes of vintage antique bronze circles.  Two circles contain vintage Swarovski crystals and one contains a vintage freshwater pearl.  Chain finished with toggle clasp.
  • Large asymmetrical antique bronze ring.   Represents the unbroken circle of eternity.
  • Large Quartz pendant.  Quartz crystals are said to be the most versatile and multipurpose healing stone.  It is known as the "power stone" or "universal crystal" due to its many uses.
  • Hanging asymmetrically, my signature style, is a grouping of: 3 vintage glass pearls and 3 champagne colored glass pearls.  Pearls are the “stone of sincerity,” known to alleviate emotional imbalances, enhance personal integrity, signifies faith and assist emotional expression.

“Widow’s Mite – Biblical Coin”

"As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. He also saw a poor widow put in her two mites. "Truly I tell you," he said, "this poor widow has put in more than all the others. All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on." (Luke 21:1-4)
  •  26” antique bronze “Mother-Son” chain.  The perfect chain for a necklace that depicts both Mary and Jesus.  The necklace is completed with a large traditional lobster clasp.
  •  Hand-crafted antique copper glass bubble locket lined with cream-colored lace.  The glass magnifies the content and has a delicate clasp.
  • Authentic Widow’s Mite from Jerusalem.  This coin dates back to 103-176 B.C.  The glass bubble beautifully magnifies the coin and detailing.  The coin is not affixed to the locket in order for the wearer to view and handle the coin if desired.   Wearing an item that dates back to Biblical times affords an overwhelming sense of comfort and warmth.  Owner can contact Makings By Bee if they want the coin and/or the locket sealed for no additional cost.  Copy of certificate of authenticity provided.
  • Hung asymmetrically on the left side of the chain is a random cluster of items, my signature style.  This grouping is intended to be on the left side, closer to the heart for maximum wellbeing.  A small verdigris patina Celtic cross, a tiny gold plated “Miraculous Mary” medal, vintage glass pearl bead. Pearls signify faith which make them a perfect addition to this necklace. Pearls are the “stone of sincerity,” known to alleviate emotional imbalances, enhance personal integrity and assist emotional expression

“Faithful Healing Beauty”

I must admit that I am personally mourning this necklace.  Since its creation, it has been my very favorite necklace, and most expensive.  :)  I wore it a ton!  I never tried to sell it because I loved wearing it more.  I was ready to send it out into the World.  I don't imagine that it will last long at The Shop.   Original Makings By Bee posting about this necklace located HERE.

When I began creating this necklace, I combined a beautiful stone with a stunning antique locket, I had no idea that I was going to end up with a powerful result.  Many people believe in the healing power of various stone properties.  This necklace combines elemental properties, faith and symbols.
You’ll feel strong and beautiful when wearing this piece, I promise.

  • 30” Mixed media chain.  6.5” vintage onyx glass rosary chain.  23.5” antique silver color carved chain completed with a toggle clasp.
  • Large asymmetrical silver plated ring.    An unbroken circle is a universal symbol of eternity.
  • Large wire-wrapped labradorite stone hangs within the ring.  Labradorite stones are known for their healing qualities.  Labradorite is believed to strengthen the will, inner strength and convictions, as well as aid in combating addictions.  Labradorite is said to bring forth each person's assets to share with the world, bring more restful sleep and help us relate to others.
  • Antique Catholic "Miraculous Mary" Rose Locket.  Catholics believe that wearing the "Miraculous Mary" medal will bring special graces through the intercession of Mary if worn with faith and devotion.  By having the medal images inside of the locket, the wearer has a private affirmation of faith.  Purchased at The Factory Antique store.  2 additional medal images are included in the locket that I cannot identify.
  • Vintage freshwater pearl.  Pearls are the “stone of sincerity,” known to alleviate emotional imbalances, enhance personal integrity, signifies faith and assist emotional expression.
